Images or HTML.
Works from ready-made images or HTML slides, plus the script that goes with them.
A handful of AI bots that each own one part of my day, from the morning news to the things I keep forgetting.
I had plenty of repetitive tasks I wanted to automate, but the usual routes kept getting in the way.
A script either needs a server to run on or has to live on GitHub, and both make quick changes slow. Every small tweak turned into a deployment.
When Grok Bot came out, I saw it as the perfect fit. Each bot has its own computer in the cloud, so it doesn’t matter whether I message it from my phone or my laptop, and scheduled runs cover exactly the automations I had in mind.
Turns the day’s news, the weather and the forint exchange rate into a short vertical video for me and my friends on Telegram.
Closer lookTurns images or HTML and a written script into a narrated video. It learned how by asking the Morning Briefing.
Closer lookNudges me every day about open tasks until I tell it they’re done.
Closer lookShortlists senior AI product roles in Budapest or remote Hungary. It never applies on my behalf.
Closer lookHolds everything important about my current projects, along with the smaller tasks I still need to do.
Closer lookIt started as a scheduled workflow on GitHub, where every change was a chore. Since moving to Grok Bot it has improved significantly: it remembers what it covered yesterday and only brings fresh news.
The daily show runs in Hungarian on a Telegram channel. The video here is an English edition made for this page.
A routine starts the run every morning, with no server to keep alive.
Major Hungarian politics and economy stories from Telex, HVG, 444 and Portfolio, plus AI news from the big labs.
Budapest weather and the ECB forint rate, so the figure read aloud matches the slide.
It writes the narration and chooses an image for every story.
ElevenLabs reads the script, and the slides become a 1080×1920 video.
The video goes to a channel my friends and I follow. I only hear from the bot if something fails.
The interesting part is how it came to be. Nobody showed it how to make a video: it asked the Morning Briefing how the daily show gets made, and built its own pipeline from the answers.
Works from ready-made images or HTML slides, plus the script that goes with them.
ElevenLabs reads the script, timed to every slide.
Other tools could send reminders too, but this one feels personal, and that’s why it works for me.
Sets a reminder for a given time, from a single message.
Routines bring an open task back every day until I say it’s done.
The Job Scout can ask it to track application deadlines.
We started with a deep interview and a read through my CV. From that, it worked out which roles I’m actually interested in. I give feedback on everything it finds, so the roles it brings each morning keep getting more relevant.
Never applies on my behalfAsked what I want from my next role before it searched for anything.
Uses my experience as the baseline for every match.
Senior AI product roles in Budapest or remote Hungary.
Every yes or no I give shapes the next day’s picks.
Project knowledge and the smaller tasks I need to get done live in a GitHub repository. The bot looks after it, so it really works as a second brain.
Asks before every write to the repoFinds what I’ve written about a project and sums it up in a few lines.
Turns new knowledge and to-dos into notes in the repository.
Files every note in the right place as the repository grows.
Summarizes what changed over the past week.
Instead of one assistant that half-remembers everything, each bot has its own job, rules and memory, so it keeps getting better at that one thing.
The Job Scout never applies on my behalf, and the Second Brain asks before it writes to the repository. Decisions with consequences stay with me.
The Morning Briefing only messages me if something fails. Otherwise the video simply appears in the channel.
Gives every bot a persistent cloud computer, scheduled routines, and a way to message the other bots.
Reads the Morning Briefing and Video Maker scripts aloud in Hungarian, with timestamps for every slide.
The daily video goes to a Telegram channel, and the Second Brain lives in a GitHub repository.
